How have you been?

OK, I didn’t sleep much last night though. I stayed up until 2AM studying for an exam.

I was up late last night too. The semester is almost over. I’ve had exams all week.

Are you going back to California after you graduate?

I think so. After I graduate I’ll probably go back home and try to get a job.

Do you know where you’d like to work?

Not yet, but I want to be an English translator.

That’d be really cool. I’d like to be a translator too, but I don’t think my English is good enough.

Don’t worry about that. Your English is better than most of my classmates.

Thanks. Where are you going now?

I’m going to study at the library. I have to take an exam tomorrow.

Me too. How late does the library stay open?

I think it’s open until 11:30PM.

OK, eu não dormi muito na noite passada. Eu fiquei acordado até às 2 da manhã estudando para um exame.

Eu fiquei acordado até tarde ontem à noite também. O semestre está quase terminando. Eu tenho feito exames toda semana.

Você vai voltar para a Califórnia depois que se formar?

Acho que sim. Depois que me formar provavelmente eu volto pra casa e tento achar um emprego.

Você sabe onde você gostaria de trabalhar?

Não ainda, mas eu quero ser um tradutor de inglês.

Isso é muito legal. Eu também gostaria de ser tradutora, mas eu acho que meu inglês não é bom o suficiente.

Não se preocupe com isso. Seu inglês é bem melhor do que o de muitos dos meus colegas.

Eu vou estudar na biblioteca. Eu tenho um exameamanhã.

Eu também. Até que horas a biblioteca fica aberta?

Eu acho que fica aberta até às 23h30.
